A 30-day tourist visa is issued upon arrival in the Maldives to citizens of all countries. A special long-term visa is available to extend to eligible individuals. Travellers must possess a valid passport that includes a machine-readable zone (MRZ) and has a minimum validity period of one month.
All arriving and departing passengers are required to submit an online Travellers Declaration at https:/imuga.immigration.gov.mv within 96 hours before departure to and from Male.
